- Index Contour, Intermediate Contour, Supplementary Contour.
- There are three different stages. The young one will be straight and narrow. The mature or intermediate stage there will be a flat valley floor with some ponds and marshes. Then the old stage where there is little to no draining.
- There are two types. One is ice sheets and they are very thick and change the land while leaving behind erosion and deposition. And there are also mountain glaciers. They are located around valleys and sometimes leave a shallow lake.
