An object in rest will stay at rest or an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by another force.

- It models inertia because without restraints the penny flies off but with the restraints the penny doesn't fly off.

- The penny and the card both have no force at the beginning. However you will give the card force by flicking it. Before the force can transfer the card is already off.

The paper applies friction to it which means more force is needed.
